Catholic Kids Bulletin

I have a few random comments about this bulletin.  The saint of the week is Saint James the Greater--which makes me chuckle.  Why?  Because I'm odd AND because in high school, we had a running joke about Saint James.  The church I went to growing up had a statue of Saint James out front.  The statue was posed with his hand stretched behind his back--I have no idea why.  In high school we would stand next to the statue and pose like Saint James.  As I'm typing this, I realize that it's not really very hilarious, but I'm still giggling in my head.  When my sister saw the picture that I drew, she also laughed--so if you don't think it's funny, I guess it's your fault.  It couldn't be an issue with me!

BTW--how are your kids liking the bulletins?  Some weeks Curly really likes it and spends time working on it.  Other week, she couldn't care less.

  1. I love them and so does my daughter (now 4). We're a few weeks behind right now though--only because this summer our church has made a real effort to continue the Children's Liturgy at the Mass we attend. I've also shared your link with some of our playgroup moms who say their kids are enjoying them.

  2. Thanks! It's great to hear that they're being used. My daughter has been at grandma's a lot this summer, so some weeks I'm not using them at all...I'm glad all the work isn't going to waste!
